The Tokon/Toukon (lit. fighting spirit) Academy was founded in 2000 and our pedigree lies in coaching Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. As a founder member of the Jiu-Jitsu Brotherhood and 'Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in Schools' initiative we are proud to be one of the UK's largest providers of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to school children (aged 5-13 years).
Creating functional skills through core human movement and fundamental learning patterns is paramount to the development of everyone training with the Tokon Academy and everything taught on our mats is applicable to the sporting arena as well as a self-protection environment.
